Preliminary Discussion Contact ESP to provide
information on proposal and to clarify any questions posed by
ESP -
Stage
1 Stage 1 Pre-Audit:
coordinate with your company to identify all
required information, documentation and company
representatives that are essential to ensure all elements
of the audit will be readily available and present for
review to determine your company's readiness for main
audit and to provide feedback to your
organization -
Stage 2 Stage 2
Audit-Part I: conduct a Program Assessment, Training
Assessment, Behavioral Assessment, Environmental Assessment
and a Mock OSHA Walkthrough Audit. - Stage
3 Stage 3
Audit-Part II: evaluate current Safety Management
System utilizing OSHA's PEP Evaluation Tool as well as
ESP Safety Consultants' "Full Circle
Safety Management" Evaluation Tool - Stage 4 Stage 4
Audit-Part III: Accident Totals, Comparison of Accident Totals
to Industry Average, Accident Costs (Direct vs. Indirect) and
Sales Equivalence to off-set the Accident Costs to your
company -
Stage 5 Stage 5 Post-Audit: conduct a formal
Audit review with all company representatives to identify Gap
Analysis, Deficiencies in Current Safety Management System,
and Final Audit Score. If company is granted a Pass grade,
then Certification will be granted and presented at this time.
If Fail grade is issued, company will need to evaluate
final report and correct all stated deficiencies and fill
all gaps within the Gap Analysis. - Stage
6 Stage 6 Routine Surveillance: review
company every 6 months to verify improvements and to ensure
compliance with all elements of the OHSAS 18001
System. Every 2 years a Renewal Audit will be completed
by ESP Safety Consultants on the complete
system. A renewed Certification will be granted at the end of
Audit.
